Jürgen Winkler

Jennifer started training in obedience in 1977 after purchasing her first Dobermann.  With the purchase of her second Dobermann in 1980, she entered the conformation ring and became involved in schutzhund.  Since that time she has been involved in Frisbee competition, tracking, herding, agility and fly ball. Her dog activities also include visiting nursing homes, performing dog obedience demonstrations for various organizations, and educating the public on dog training, behavior and care.  Jennifer opened her obedience school in 1984 offering training for home or competition, from puppy kindergarten through advanced levels. In addition, breed and puppy selection and temperament testing and behavioral counseling are offered.  She is certified as an evaluator for Therapy Dogs International and the AKC Canine Good Citizenship test.

Jürgen has been participating in the sport of Schutzhund since 1988 and is a certified trainer and helper.  He possess in-depth knowledge and vast experience in training various breeds in the sport of schutzhund and has coached teams of various breeds at all degrees of competition.  Jürgen has personally titled Airedales, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Dobermanns, and Malinois at different levels of Schutzhund from B through SchH III and FH and has competed at the Deutsche Meisterschaft.  He has also titled an Airedale, Malinois, and Dobermann to the körung, as well as, successfully prepared other Airedales, Malinois, Dobermanns, Rottweilers, and Giant Schnauzers to pass the körung. 

Jürgen has performed helper work at all levels of competition including the Deutsche Meisterschaft and conducts helper and training seminars throughout Germany.
